Very each day...low 37 on Thursday with a High of 63 on Friday
30-31 Dec 2010 - Lake Guntersville Fishing Report – Spent the last two days of 2010 on the water with clients John, Trent and young CJ, who where out pre-fishing for tournaments and a little family fun. We fished Mud Creek and upper end of Guntersville, Water temp’s on Thursday was 38.4 and on Friday they started out at 39.3 and warmed to 43.2 by late afternoon. We caught several nice fish, all under 3.5 pounds over the last two days of the year, including one mean crappie. We found the fish in 4-7 FOW around last falls grass lines using jerk baits. It’s a typical winter pattern as they are bunched up in small groups and always in the winter it’s critical to slow down your presentation. I have days available for late January and I’m already booking days for the spring, make your reservations now for some great action on Guntersville. “ Let's go fish’ in”
