Sunny and Warm
8 June 2011 - Lake Guntersville –Today, Ed and Jake Wilson joined me for a summer six hour trip. Jake, caught the best of the morning going at 6.22 pounds on his first cast of the morning and followed that up with a 5.1 later in the day. They “young Jake” caught several nice fish to put a good limit together that any tournament angler would have been proud of. We caught them working creek channel ledges with worms and Jigs in 8-10 FOW. Water temps are steady at low to mid 80’s. We fished in the mid lake area; fishing road beds, shell beds, and ledges. Again today, our better fish came on Tightline Football Head Jig’s (Black/Blue), t-rigged sped worms, and plastics. Most of the fish are still in the 2-3.5 pound range with a several 4-5 pound fish in the mix. If you’re going to be out on the water in this heat, please drink lots of water and use sun screen. I have days available in June and I'm already booking days for the July and August, make your reservations now for some great summer time action on Guntersville and Nickajack. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost to you and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. Make your reservations now for some great action on Tennessee River. “Let’s go fish’ in”
