Sunny
11 June 2011 - Lake Guntersville –Nick and Ms. Maggie from Augusta, GA joined me today for a summer six hour trip. We fished in the mid lake area; fishing road beds, shell beds, and ledges catching fish on almost every stop. The lack of current was a challenge; however Nick and Maggie got the job done. We caught them working creek channel ledges with worms and Jigs in 8-10 FOW. Water temps are steady at low to mid 80’s. Again today, our better fish came on Lucky Craft Sammy’s with Tightline Football Head Jig’s (Guntersville Special), t-rigged sped worms, and plastics producing fish as well. Most of the fish are still in the 2-3.5 pound range with a several 4-5 pound fish in the mix. If you’re going to be out on the water in this heat, please drink lots of water and use sun screen. I have days available in June and I'm already booking days for the July and August, make your reservations now for some great summer time action on Guntersville and Nickajack. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost to you and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. Make your reservations now for some great action on Tennessee River. “Let’s go fish’ in”
