Sept 19, 2011, Lake Guntersville Fishing Reports – Good weekend and GREAT Monday! I had the extreme pleasure of send time with returning clients and some new ones. Tyson and his boy Drexton joined me Saturday morning followed by Shannon and Melinda in the afternoon than; Don, Cooper and Tyler fished with me Sunday. Today, Joe drove down put the topped off a great weekend with a great bunch of fish. Saturday and Sunday we fished the Mid-lake area, today we fished from Water Front to Seibold. It was a tough bite all weekend but everyone had a lot of fun. We found fish holding up in scattered grass, some of our best fish came in 3-8 FOW just off the mats. Most fish where in the 1-3 pound range Saturday and Sunday. On Monday was much better Joe managed several fish over four with one in the 6-7 pound class. Water temps are still in the Mid 70’s for the most part. Our better fish came on Assassinator buzz baits(Slam’ in Guntersville Red) and Spooks. We also caught fish on, t-rigged OL’ Monsters, sammy’s and Sapo Frogs. We’re still seeing a good daily average of 30-40 fish. I have a few days available in September and I’m taking reservations for October and November! Make your reservations now for some great action on Guntersville, Nickajack or Tim’s Ford.
