7 Oct 2011, Lake Guntersville Fishing Reports – Spent the day with Mike from Mt Juliet TN. We fished the lower-lake area out of Old Water Front. We had a good time and really enjoyed the fall day, catching fish on every stop. Some of our best fish came in 2-4 FOW just off the mats and off docks as some fish are starting to move to the back of creeks. Most fish where in the 1-3.5 pound range. Water temps are still around 69 degrees for the most part. Our better fish came on Tightline football jigs (Guntersville Special), Spooks, T-rigged Worms and Assassinator Clacker spinner baits. Versatility was key again today, not only in bait selection; but location as well. I have the days available in October and we’re already booking November! Make your reservations now for some great action on Guntersville, Nickajack or Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost you and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in”
