9 Oct 2011, Lake Guntersville Fishing Reports – Today was the best trip of the last three weeks, I was joined by 3 generations of Smith’s (Carl, Trace and Dillon) from East Tennessee We had a great time and enjoyed beautiful fall day, catching fish on every stop and Dillon really worked hard and caught so many he took a knap! Some of our best fish came in 2-4 FOW just off the mats and off docks. Most fish where in the 2 to 4 pound range. Water temps are still around 69 degrees for the most part. Our better fish came on Spooks, Assassinator Buzz Baits and El Grande Sapo Frogs; for the most part it was top water all day. We also fished swim baits, spinner baits and Crank baits. Versatility is extremely important, not only in bait selection; but location as well. I have the days available in October and we’re already booking November! Make your reservations now for some great action on Guntersville, Nickajack or Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost you and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in”
