Sunny on Thursday, COLD, Cloudy and Windy on Friday
18 & 19 Oct 2011, Lake Guntersville Fishing Reports – Conditions seemed to improve some on the mighty “G”, the past two days we’ve managed to put them in the boat. It’s still not like years past. Yesterday morning, Sonny and I found fish in scattered grass using flukes and RC 1.5 crank baits. Then yesterday after it warmed up Fred and Barb managed to find them in the mats on SPRO Bronze eye Frogs. Today, after a delayed start Fred and I caught several good fish again on SPRO Bronze Eye Frogs and Popper Frogs. The frog bite is improving everyday. Water temps started out today at 69.4 and had dropped to 67 degrees by the time we departed the water. It should get better after this weather front gets clear of the area, the grass is to look real good for some fall frog action. I still have a few days available in October and we’re already booking November and December! Make your reservations now for some great action on Guntersville, Nickajack or Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost you
