11-12 November 2011, Lake Guntersville Fishing Reports – Lots of fun can still be had fishing frogs on Guntersville; I had the pleasure of spending Friday with John from Louisville Kentucky and Saturday with John and Cindy from Memphis, Tennessee drove in for a day on the lake. We fished the Mid to Upper end of the Lake spending most of the time throwing SPRO Frogs on 50# Vicious Braid over mats along with swim baits, and Assassinator Compact white Spinner Baits on the outside edges. The grass is still producing for some exciting fall top water action, this should continue especially in the afternoons, not sure for how much longer the wind has been doing a number on the grass over the last couple days. We caught fish on almost every stop and absolutely had our chance to at every spot, putting several good fish in the 2 to 3.5 pound range in the boat and having some heart stopping hits makes for a great day. Water temps continued to fall after the coldest nights we had this fall to 56.2 degrees in the morning and climbed to 60 degrees in the late afternoon.
