13 Dec 2011, Lake Guntersville Fishing Reports – My partner Mike Gerry and I fished today, we thought with the mild weather we would fish some of our winter time locations up river. The fishing turned out to be great, certainly a little slow time here and there but not much as the activity was strong most the day. The good thing was most of fish came on traditional 10 inch worms making for some fun hook sets throughout the day. We fished jerk baits, A-rigs, crank baits Tight-Line jigs but most of our bites came on the worm, with a few on the others. We had a great day caught numbers, caught small fish caught some bigger fish just a great variety all day long. The fish are transitioning to a winter pattern which should be outstanding this year. I still have several days available in December and we’re already taking reservations for the spring! Make your reservations now for some great action on Guntersville, Nickajack or Tim’s Ford.
