20 Jan 2012, Lake Guntersville Fishing Reports – Fished today with my partner Mike Gerry. You’d think two full time guides should catch fish right? Well, we did and lots of them! I said back in December that Guntersville was headed for one of the best winter patterns in a long time, its here. The water temp’s are between 45-48 degrees and warmed slightly this afternoon. We fished A-rigs, T-rigged ol’monsters, rattle traps and Tightline Jigs. The bite was almost none stop all morning. We caught lots of good fish in the 2- 4 pound range and several over 5 to 6.5 pounds. I have with several days available in January and we’re already taking reservations for the spring! Make your reservations now for some great action on Guntersville, Nickajack or Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost you, Military Discount and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in”
