Partly Sunny early than Clouds
3 Feb 2012, Lake Guntersville Fishing Reports – Mickey from Sand Mountain AL joined me today for a day on the lake. The water is still muddy to heavy stained above Goose Pond and clearing below Goose Pond. Water temp’s started at 49.5 and we found today was 54 this afternoon. We fished A-rigs, rattle traps, and swim baits, brush hogs and Tightline Jigs. Our best fish came on Skinny Dipper Swim Baits. Most fish where in the 2- 3.5 pound range and came on Rattle traps XR-75’s, with a solid limit of 5 to 7 pound fish with most of them coming out of 8-18 FOW. I have a few days available come spend a day on the lake. Make your reservations now for some great action on Guntersville, Nickajack or Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost you, Military Discount and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in”
