Windy, Windy WINDY
April 23-26, 2012, Lake Guntersville Fishing Report – I was part of a corporate trip the last two days out of Water Front with several individuals from Georgia to Arkansas and several other guides. Monday, I was joined by Mr. Mike Bradley from Mt Juliet, TN. While the strong winds and cooler water temperatures stalled the bite making it tough for us, however everyone still managed to catch fish and have fun. Special thanks to my partner Mike Gerry (Fish Lake Guntersville Guide Service) who set this trip up again this year, fellow guides Jim Burks (Bass’in Adventures), Doug Campbell (Water Front) and Mr. Mike Thompson. My guys caught their fish on Assassinator “Clacker” Spinner baits, skinny dipper swim baits, Zoom Speed worms and SPRO Frogs. We fished from Water Front to the State Park focusing our attention on new grass in 2 to 12 FOW both days. Water temperature dropped with the cooler weather to 66-69 degree range. Most fish where in the 2 to 4 pound range. Make your reservations now for some great action on Guntersville or Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures, including A-rigs at no additional cost you, Military Discount and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in”
