Partly cloudy and HOT
July 18, 2012 Lake Guntersville Report – Spent the day on the lake with Shane and his dad from Hayden AL today. The guys wanted a lesson in jig fishing, so we stay on ledges and road beds almost all day. We caught fish on Tomahawk worms from Missile Baits, Ribbet Frogs, SPRO Frogs, and Tightline Jigs. The best bite remains for us on the back side of the channel grass and road beds using a ½ oz Guntersville Special jig with a Missile Baits Twin Turbo as a trailer. Water temperatures are 85 to 87 degrees. Most fish where in 2-3.5 pound range. Please drink lots of water and use a good sun screen when on the lakes. Make your reservations now for some great ledge and frog action on Guntersville or fall smallmouth fishing on Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures, including A-rigs at no additional cost you, Military Discount and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in”
