Sunny (fog early)
Oct 05, 2012 Lake Guntersville Report – This is for Wednesday and Friday of this week. We spent both days covering water from Jones Creek to Seibold catching fish in 6-16 FOW using Assassinator Clacker Spinner Baits, Tightline Jigs, SPRO Frogs and Buzz Baits around grass on the back side of the channel. Both days my client put several 3.5 to 5 pound fish in the boat. Water temperatures have dropped a little to 71-73 degrees; look for them to continue to drop with the cooler weather moving in. The shad are loading up in the grass and with the cooler nights the fishing should only improve from here on out. We’re taking reservations for the winter and spring months already; I have days and guides available make your reservations now for some great grass flipping and frog action on Guntersville or fall smallmouth fishing on Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures, including A-rigs at no additional cost you, Military Discount and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in”
