Windy and changing
Mar 12-17, 2013 Lake Guntersville – The last week had its challenges, with cold mornings to start the week and continued strong winds. The warmer temperatures the last couple of days move some fish up shallow as the water warmed to the 60 degree mark in some creeks, if the forecast for the next week holds true. I don’t look for these temperatures to hold. The main channel is still holding in the low to mid 50’s. The best fish came on Super Bug D-Bombs and Guntersville Special Tightline Jigs with a smaller fish mostly on Rattle Baits and jerk baits. We found our fish 1- 3 FOW on rattle baits from SPRO and Excalibur, with the best fish coming from 10-14 FOW on jigs and D-Bombs. The warmest water we found today was 54.2 degrees. I have days and full time USCG Licensed guides available to take you fishing; make your reservations now for some great spring action on Guntersville or Tim’s Ford. Gift Certificates are available. We supply all fishing gear, lures, including A-rigs at no additional cost you, Military Discount and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in”
