Overcast and sprinkles

The wife talked me into going this afternoon while i thought it was too windy. but the wind calmed down enough. we launched at 4 pm. fished around the pads and bridge for a while, nothing. so we motored up to jones cove. water was perfect for spinners and rattle traps. caught several dinks. put on a white spinner with 2 willow leaf blades, white/ chartruse skirt. caught 2 kepers. not huge but had a great afternoon of fishing with the wife. lots of fun when the feeding frenzie started after the shad. wife caught 5 in 10 mins, all small but lots of fun.
