The "Big-G" just does not let up, even in the summer months!!! I got the opportunity to show a great gentleman from L.A.(Lower Alabama) just how this lake can turn on right when you were thinking it was going to be one of those days of just catching a bunch of small fish. We fished some deep grass lines with worms and jigs and were able to get some small fish, but when we decided to move a little deeper the fun started. We only took pictures of fish one at a time so we could get them back in the water soon as the picture was made, but we ended up doing this several times during the day. The fish are really scattered along these lines but the quality is there, and today there was exceptional quality. Today was a blast for this guy on his first trip to Guntersville Lake, and I don't think it will be his last. We got to see a lot of fish schooling around but decided to not go after them and stay with the quality bite instead, I think it was a very good decision. Have fun, Mike Carter
