Cloudy, windy
The shallow crankbait bite up river was great yesterday. These fish were getting very aggressive with the cold front that's starting to move in. It's the same pattern as normal with all of the fish coming from areas that have structure and grass humps along the river edges. It was great to see some of the solid quality fish that these areas are producing right now. This could be a sign of some great fishing the next few weeks with this pattern. Have fun, Mike Carter
