Strong wind, rain

Today I got out with a gentleman from Ga. that wanted to catch a few fish in some deep grass with 1 oz. Rat-L-Traps paired along with 7'6" Med. Heavy Hammer Rods, and catch them we did, uhh change that, "he" did. He had a blast getting the opportunity to see just how good those big baits work. The wind and rain was strong but with the warmer weather before the front the fish were turned on. Most of the better fish that we got on were in deep grass in 8-10 ft. of water. We were also able to catch a few more good quality fish on A-rigs in some of the same areas. It really felt good to take a break from Duck Hunting and get out on the water and enjoy some great Bass fishing. Have fun, Mike Carter
