Cold, calm

WOW, you have just got to love this time of year reguardless of the cold. I had 2 trips today, and the first trip consisted of trying to find a few fish for an upcoming tournament and find them we did. We released a lot of fish without taking any pictures but we did have one that was for sure picture worthy. This afternoon I took a good friend out for just some fun fishing and to try and find a few more fish. This worked out better than expected with the both of us catching some good quality fish in each area we fished. All of the fish today came on 3/4-1 oz. Rat-L-Traps in 8-12 ft. of water. This goes to show that these fish are feeding aggressively along the deeper grass lines and when you do find the right one hold on and enjoy the fun. The way these fish are feeding right now will surely make for a fantastic Rat-L-Trap tournament this Sunday. Have fun, Mike Carter
