Today was one of those days that you just watch boat after boat go by and wait for everything to clear then wait for the solid "Thump" on a big Choo Choo Lures jig and hold on. "WOW" this was fun, and actually very nice when a plan comes together. It did however start out slow with Rat-L-Traps, but quickly decided to fish some deeper areas with big jigs and the few bites that we got were some "good uns". We didn't stay in these areas very long for the gentlemen that I had with me wanted to leave them alone for an up-coming tournament. Fantastic time of year to fish the "Big-G", well any time of year is a good time to fish the "Big-G". Get out and enjoy it while it's here. Have fun, Mike Carter
