WINDY!!!!

Yesterday and today I had a Father and his 2 sons for all day trips, and let's just say "WOW" they had one fantastic time. Yesterday we had a lot of numbers of fish in the 1-3 lb. range fishing the lower end of the lake along with the 9,473 (give or take a few), of the other weekend pleasure boaters, but it was still a lot of fun even without a big-un. Today however was a little different around the mid-lake area. The boat traffic was nowhere near as bad, but the wind made up for it, and as for the fishing, typical Lake Guntersville, the big ones were feeding, and I do mean "Big"! The 2 in the pics are 7.15 n 8.13 lbs., and the Gentleman with the 8.13 lbr., his personal best, got a great Memorial Day weekend gift with this catch and it made it even more special being with his 2 sons. The fish for the last couple of days have all came on 1/2-3/4 oz. Choo Choo Lures jigs along deep grass lines and river channel edges. Get out and have some fun, Mike Carter
