I had another trip last night with a couple of gentlemen that wanted to do some night fishing on the "Big-G". They brought along a 12 yr. old young man that was one great fisherman, and went from early evening through the whole night without one backlash on his baitcaster reel. For a young man at this age to fish for over 8 hrs. and not have any problems backlashing a time shows how hard this guy has worked with his fishing skills. We fished the lower end of the lake and started out with some topwater fishing with Excalibur Zell-Pops. The wind and rain had slowed the topwater bite down some but these guys were still able to get a few solid fish to explode on the zell-pops. When it got dark we turned on the "Night Blazer" lights and started slow rolling 1/2 oz. Choo Choo Lures spinnerbaits along some deeper grass lines in the area we were fishing. These guys got some nice quality fish with this pattern and got to see just how hard these fish can "hammer" a spinnerbait at night. My compliments go out to the 12 yr. old young man for his hard work and flawless casting through out the whole night, keep up the hard work. Have fun, Mike Carter
