Cloudy with occasional sprinkles
Again, the Big G demonstrated it is a lake that goes against the normal theory in bass fishing. It was a cloudy day, light winds, with occasional sprinkles so one would think the bass would be very active. They were not, least for me.
I tossed topwater baits, spinnerbaits, swimbaits, and worms with little success.
It seems I do better when the sun is shinning than cloudy days on Lake Guntersville. It is a lake that is opposite of what you read in the articles on bass fishing.
