Cloudy and strong north wind
22 Dec 2010 - Lake Guntersville Fishing Report – Had a good day on the mighty Guntersville, My partner Mike Gerry from Fish Lake Guntersville Guide Service and I hit the water to locate some fish and have a little fun; we fished the Mid Lake area, Water temp’s started out at 48.3 and dropped to 44.6 by early afternoon. We faced a brisk northerly wind for most of the day under cloudy conditions. We caught several nice fish today in 4-6 FOW around scattered grass using spinner baits, rattle traps, and jerk baits. It’s a typical winter pattern as they are bunched up in small groups. We have dates available in December and have started booking trips for the spring. The Smallmouth fishing has picked up some on Tim’s Fords and below Nick-a-jack Dam as well, I’ll be on the Nick-a-jack tomorrow. I still have Gift Certificates available on my website www.midsouthbassguide.com for the upcoming year. "Let's go fish’ in”
