Sunny and Hot
1 & 2 June 2011 - Lake Guntersville –Yesterday afternoon, I had the pleasure of fishing with Mr. Ronnie Garrison of www.fishing.about.com, from Griffin Ga. We caught several fish mostly on Jigs in 8-10 FOW. Water temps are steady at low to mid 80’s. Today, I was joined by John and Johnny from Memphis TN. We started in the mid lake area fishing road beds, shell beds and ledges. Our better fish came on Tightline Football Head Jig’s (Guntersville Special), t-rigged brush hogs, shaky heads and Assassinator Spinnerbaits and plastics. Most fish are still in the 1-3 pound range with a couple 4-5 pound fish in the mix. The a more consistent Frog/Rat bite is not far off, I noticed several areas today where the grass is just under the surface and some areas starting to top out already. I have days available in June and I'm already booking days for the July and August, make your reservations now for some great summer time action on Guntersville and Nickajack. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost you and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. Make your reservations now for some great action on Tennessee River. “Let’s go fish’ in”
