South Florida Everglades Fishing Report

Thursday - December 11th, 2008

Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Sunny and warm high in the mid 70's during the day and low 60's at night. Slighty windy at times in the winter.

Over the last four weeks we've been out three or four times with great results considering the higher water levels we're still experiencing this time of year. But the water temperatures have dropped significantly which has turned the bass on. December in South Florida for bass fishing is usually difficult to say the least especially the Everglades which in the spring time to early summer has a catch rate of upwards of 5 to 10 fish per hour! Probably the best bass fishing for numbers on the planet! Pictured below are a few pictures of the largemouth bass & peacock bass we've brought aboard during the last few weeks.
