Air temp 75
Water temp has increased 7-10 degrees over the past 3 weeks. Bass are active throughout the day with topwater minnow types early and late. When worming the river one must use 1/2-1 oz tungsten weights. The water is swift and requires a quick presentation when worming. The backend of reachable backwater can be a fun day with the kids for bream and yellow perch. Catfishing has picked up with baits such as worms and shrimp the bait of choice for this angler. Stripper fishing in slack water with shallow running crankbaits can be a handful with light action rods right now. Whatever your choice get out there and enjoy this spring like winter
