Morning was about 40 and sunny, heated up fast to sunny with clouds and high of 60, NE 5-10 winds
Denny and Me hit the north end of Brookville Lake about 11:30 and headed back up Big eli creek, hitting timbers.
I had a cotton cordel in smoke shad tied on to a new berkley rod and new quantum reel, so life was good today :)
Hit one right off the bank and continued with about 5 for the day, Denny started slow but caught up by afternoon
All largemouths and I got one smallmouth out of a tree top.
We covered a lot of ground today , and it was fun chasing busting fish on the shad.
Worked big eli then hit the east bank to the dunslapville causeway, then fished a new area to denny on the SW side of the
causeway where abundant riprap for ever is crankbait city.
Denny threw the minus one then switched to the bandit 100 tenn shad (thanks zooker) and started getting his
5 on that bandit.
Denn fowl hooked one bass and thought it felt like a 5 pounder, lol
heres some pics of the same big eli creek and then the north area where last year we posted many
3-4-5 pounders on the forum this time last fall...same rock shoreline near the houseboats.
The water temp took a fall in temps in 5 days..Wed. when Woody and I hit it the water temp was 71-72 in the afternoon, today
it was 64 and hit 66 by 5ish...still lots of migration to be had, they arent done yet!
