Calling Panther Lake Fishing Report

Windy, early cloud cover, broken up to partial clouds by late morning.

This was not a successful outing. Put in at 8:30 a.m. and slowly cruised across to the east side of the lake. It was extremely crowded. The parking lot was almost completely full. There are stumps all throughout the lake, so it's idle speed only. Threw a spinnerbait for a while, then switched to Paca Craw, then a jig with Baby Paca Craw trailer, then a 4" swimbait, then a 6" lizard. We didn't get the first strike all day. We talked to several people, only one person said they had caught anything, and that was a short fish early close to the ramp. The conditions were almost perfect, but the fish didn't cooperate.
