Warm and partly cloudy. Thunderstorms in the far distance
My son caught this perch weighs in at 2,5 Lbs and was caught during a fishing trip in France using a Heddon topwater lure on a seven-pound test mono. Mine was around 3 pounds. The correct spot was a drop from six feet of sand down to some 15 feet with a weedy bottom. You find many big perch and some medium sized pike. We didn't strike one largemouth during our outings.
