Blue Bird sky, mist on lake until sun came up then by 11:00 it was to hot to fish!
Caught a largemouth about a 1.25# the caught several other fish. We anchored on a spot that has a large tree and the stumps. Didn't catch anything there so we started to move past this point, since I was in the stern I cast my spinnerbait 3/8 oz Purple/Black skirt and a 2 blade willow leaf silver!This bass weight was 5.5# and 20.5" Length. I was using the free reel & rod from NAFC as a life time member! Using 12# Hi - Seas Black widow Co-Polymer camo line. The rod is a Shimano and the reel is a Shimano Sadona. I like to thank my friend for a good morning fishing except for the heat!
