Center Hill Lake Fishing Report

Thursday Feb 9
Today was a trip to Center Hill Lake with Rik from Cookeville, TN. We met at Sligo and fished around there for a while catching several smallmouth bass. We then started to move around headed toward the Narrows fishing a pattern we picked up early. Rik had a real nice day catching 4 keeper smallies. The fish seemed to be suspended most of the day and the bites were spaced out but when we did get one it was a pretty good one. We did manage to catch a nice solid 15lb or so limit of fish. Rik and I also managed to catch some kentuckies and a largmouth to go with the abundant smallmouth we caught. Throughout the day we fished crankbaits, jerkbaits and big/small jigs. Most of the fish came on jerkbaits. Rik thanks for a great day on the lake it was a pleasure fishing with you and I am looking forward to our March trip.
