Center Hill Lake Fishing Report

Bluebird sky high pressure, warm temps breeze late in the day

Center Hill was our destination today, with our focus on developing a pattern and working to eliminate water. I fished with Rik who is a regular client. Our plan started with working the creeks and small tributaries to try and find some largemouth bass. We did catch a few but it wasn't the dominant pattern. We then shifted gears and took into account what we had seen on the water and what we were seeing on the graph and went from there. We made some small changes and started to catch some fish, I lost a pretty large fish on a Bandit 300 series, then began catching them on assorted jerkbaits. We had cloud cover roll in and the wind picked up stimulating the fish and pushing the shad against points. We moved around and were able to catch several nice fish and some small fish while working this pattern. It was fun to work with Rik on this skill set and great to see him develop our pattern from what were seeing. I look forward to our next trip in March, thanks for a great day on the water.
