Cloudy, steady wind from the NW, day after a strong front had passed

Today I was joined on Percy Priest by two friends Donnie Rubel and John Lewis. I checked the areas that I had caught them in yesterday but 2 things happened, the water temp had jumped by 1.5 degrees to 51.5 and the clarity changed from clear to muddy so that area was no good. We were able to catch some smallies on the main lake out off the ends of points on jerkbaits. No giants but solid 16" and 17" fish. We also caught some largemouths and spots on jerkbaits as well. The bite was slower with the front having just passed through. Water temp in the mid lake was anywhere from 48.7 - 51.5 depending on where about you were in the pockets. This bite will pick back up now that the front has passed by Monday it should be back in full swing.
