Today I had Julie and Joe from Wisconsin. Julie set the trip up as a surprise for her husband and he was totally surprised when they were on the plane and Julie told him of the trip. Our trip started off pretty good catching 9 or 10 at our 1st stop. We then moved around looking for some better fish. We caught some but no real size increase. We then switched back up to cranking like we had started. We immediately began catching again and as the day went on we increased our size. I lost a couple of fish in the 6 to 7lb category and we managed to catch some solid 3+ lb fish as well as a couple of 4lbers. We fished crankbaits, carolina rigs, and jigs today. We caught fish on the carolina rigs and crankbaits but had no takers on the jig. We had a blast for the day and I look forward to Julie and Joe coming back. I still have open dates in April and May so be sure to book your trip soon.
