Jan 25, 2012, Tim’s Ford Fishing Reports – Hit the water on Tim’s Ford today for a few hours. Launched at Devil’s Step, found muddy warm water up lake with clear water in the lower portion of the lake. I had 17 fish today with the best 5 coming in at 15-16 pounds; the best fish came on half ounce Tightline Football Jig’s (Guntersville Black and Blue with green pumpkin trailer) and 3/16 ounce Spot Removers rigged with a finesse worm. Most fish came in about 12-17 FOW. Water temps are 54.5 at Devils Step and 50.5 degrees this afternoon down lake. Don’t miss out on some great early spring smallmouth action on Tim’s Ford. I have days available this month and have already started taking reservations for February thru July, make your reservations now for some great late winter and spring action on Guntersville, Nickajack and Tim’s Ford.
