August 20 & 22, 2011, Tim’s Ford Fishing Reports – Spent the day on the lake with a clients from Shelbyville TN. We found good conditions with most fish relating to secondary points that had shad on them till morning. Most fish where in the 1-3 pound range with a 4 pound smallmouth in the mix. Water temps are 82-86 degrees depending on the time of day. Our better fish came on Tightline Football Jig’s (Guntersville Special or Pumpkin Orange) El Grande Tubes. We also fished XD6 Crank Baits and flukes rigged weightless with limited reubessults. I have a few days available this month. I'm already booking days for the September and October, make your reservations now for some great late summer/early fall action on Guntersville, Nickajack and Tim’s Ford.
