Rain and Wind
Nov 9, 2011, Tim’s Ford Fishing Reports – Spent the day on the lake with Bill and Rob from Nashville, TN. We fought the rain and wind for most of the day, but we had a lot of fun. We found fish on secondary points and about half way in to pockets. Just like everywhere else we found lots of shad all over the place. Most fish where in the 1- 4 pound range and just about all where largemouth. Water temps are 59.5 to 62 degrees depending on what part of the lake you’re on. Our better fish came on Tightline Football Jig’s (Guntersville Special or Pumpkin Orange) and White flukes rigged weightless. We also fished RC1.5 and Bandit Crank Baits with limited results. Don’t miss out on some great winter smallmouth action on Tim’s Ford. I have days available this month and have already started taking reservations for December and January, make your reservations now for some great late fall/early winter action on Guntersville, Nickajack and Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost you and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in”
