Dec 3, 2011, Tim’s Ford Fishing Reports – Mr. John Howard, my old tournament partner and friend join me today on the lake for a few hours. We put in at Tim’s Ford marina today and made a short run up lake. We put lots of fish in the boat today, with our best fish came on half ounce Tightline Football Jig’s (Guntersville Special and Pumpkin Orange) rigged on 7’ Duckett Micro Magic Heavy Rods with 17 pound test Vicious A.C.T. and 3/16 ounce Spot Removers rigged with a sped craws and grubs rigged on Duckett Spinning Rods 7-6’6” with 6 pound test Vicious Pro Elite Fluorocarbon. We found fish on main lake and on secondary points and about half way in to pockets in the mid lake area. Water temps dropped a little to 55-57 degrees depending on what part of the lake you are on. Don’t miss out on some great winter smallmouth action on Tim’s Ford. I have days available this month and have already started taking reservations for January and February, make your reservations now for some great winter action on Guntersville, Nickajack and Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost you and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in”
