Dec 21, 2011, Tim’s Ford Fishing Reports – Spent today looking for some smallmouth for clients on Saturday. I put in at Devil’s Step and fished the Mid Lake area. I had 16 smallmouth, 3 Spots today, the best fish came on half ounce Tightline Football Jig’s (Guntersville Special and Pumpkin Orange) and 3/16 ounce Spot Removers rigged with a finesse worm fished on 17 and 6 pound test Vicious Pro Elite Fluorocarbon. Water temps are 52 at Devils Step and 54 degrees down lake. Don’t miss out on some great winter smallmouth action on Tim’s Ford.
