Sept 26, 2012, Tim’s Ford Fishing Report – Spent an exceptional day on Tim’s Ford with Mike from Dallas TX today. We split the day up into a morning and afternoon trip avoiding the mid-day heat. The morning and evening produced a mixed bag of fish including some nice smallmouth, largemouth, Hybrid Stripe and Walleye. We found our fish in 15 to 65 FOW on main lake points/rounds using SPRO Dawgs, chug bugs, spinnerbaits and spot removers. The water level is holding at summer pool and water temperatures have declined to 74-76 degrees. Early mornings and evenings remain the best time to hit Tim’s for some great smallmouth and top water stripe action.
