Sept 28, 2012, Tim’s Ford Fishing Report – The OL’ Stump Bumper Benny Hull from Southern Sportsman Outdoors TV joined me today to film on Tim’s Ford. It took a total of about an hour and a half to shoot enough footage for the entire show. Visit Benny’s website at www.bennyhull.com With the partly overcast day we the fish stayed active long today. The morning produced the best results with a mixed bag of fish including some nice smallmouth, largemouth, walleye and Hybrid Stripe. The action slowed shortly after 11am, but we still managed some nice fish after lunch at Tim’s Ford Marina until the end of the day at 1:30pm. The fish are still in 15 to 65 FOW, we fished main lake points/rounds using SPRO Dawgs, chug bugs, spot removers and Benny’s Bojole Flutter spoons. The water level is holding at summer pool and water temperatures have declined to 74-76 degrees. Early mornings and evenings remain the best time to hit Tim’s for some great smallmouth and top water stripe action.
