Snow and light NW Wind
Mar 1, 2013, Tim’s Ford Fishing Report – It was good weather today if you wanted to caught smallmouth, cold, light NW Wind, and a few flurries. Mr. Brent Shelton and his son-in-law joined me on the water today. We managed to catch a mixed bag of Smallmouth and Largemouth. The guys had lot of fun, with catching a limit of fish in the 17-22 ½ inch range. Most of the smallmouth they caught came from 8 to 23 FOW. We focused on main lake points/rounds and the first half of main lake pockets, the best smallmouth came on spot removers with finesse baits. We also fished Tightline Football head jigs with twin turbo tail trailers. Water temperatures ranged from 47 to 47.3 degrees.
