Clear Skies
19-20 Oct 2010 – Nickajack and Tims Ford – I had a couple of guest that wanted to put together a tournament pattern Tim’s and Nickajack Lakes, they are still slow. Tim’s is producing a few good fish in 15+ FOW and temps are in the 67-70 degree area, best bet to catch fish on Tims Ford is early mornings, using spinner baits, crankbaits and soft plastics. Nickajack is in the same shape as Guntersville….water temps in the mid to upper 60’s, it is really hit or miss the fish are scattered in 3-15 FOW. There is some top water action but not as in years past. This should improve over the next two weeks. Make your reservations for a trip soon, we still have dates available in October...Smallmouth fishing should start picking up in mid November on Tim’s Fords. "Let's go fish'in”
