I have not been out to the lakes in a few years and since everyone down in this area knows about the this 75 year drought we have had, I was not sure what to expect. Coming out this morning, I was excited to see all the lakes FULL. All six lakes are equipped with boats and they also have four walks around lakes for bank fishing that my 12 year old son loved to fish.
Talking with the owners Jim and Dot Thompson, they stated they recently restocked the lakes with Florida, Native and F-1 Largemouth bass and plenty of forage fish.
It was cold this morning, but they seemed to be biting. Jim kept giving me advice, I felt he wanted me to catch as much as I could. I ended up catching 16 throughout the morning, however, I probably should have listened a little closer, since another guest caught 60+.
I will definitely come back!!
