Hit the water at 230 and went till 6pm. My fish finder was going in and out so I avoided trying to mark suspended bass. Instead I trolled into the back waters of the fingers of the res. I downsized my bait and threw almost exclusively a (believe it or not) beetle spin first white later yellow and black. I caught six including 2 2lbs and 1 3lbs. They seem to be all over the downed timber and the bigger ones I found were deep back in the fingers.
