I have about 5 gallons of gas/oil mix in a old tank I used on my old outboard that locked up. I recently purchased a new outboard, and I now need the tank. My question is where can I dispose of the old gas in a environmentally safe way? Thanks for any info.

I would check in the telephone book. Â*At the beginning of our phone book we have information pages that have odd things like that. Â*If not call your local city Â*admin office and they will either tell you what you can do or help you find the right department to talk to.
Our city has certain times they do "round-ups" for batteries and such. Sandra ![]() P.S. - Also, u can try calling the Landfill in your area. |

I would just burn it up on a brush pile, of course being very, very, very careful.

It makes great weed killer too. Heck it came from the ground.

DUDE,
Dump a couple gallons in your tow vehicle each time you fill up. The new gas will help it burn, and I have yet to find old gas that will not burn to some extent. JackL |
