What has been the most productive Bass lure for you in the year 2005? I would have to say mine is a pop-r. What color is your favorite? Mine is the perch color.

I would say my 2 best lures this year have been a Tiki Stick and a spinnerbait. Followed real close by a baby brushhog.

Strike King bleeding spinnerbaits- white, chartreuse. Then the Tiki- junebug, junebug/chartreuse. Hey why take a day? Take a week and come on down, the weathers hot, the fishing has been pretty good, the beer is ice cold.

For me its probably a 5" kinami in red shad color and a Culprit tomato tassel tail worm.
heres the kinami ![]() But i have also never in my life used a hardbait, spinnerbait, buzzbait, topwater, or any kind of non worm lure. Just never tried em cause i was catchin fish everytime i went on worms so ive stuck to it since ive been fishin. But i just bought my first cheapo spinnerbait at wal-mart so im going to try it out next time i go and i heard topwater is best for fall so im going to find me one i like some time. Whats a good color for topwater? |

Hey Lizards, I have got Zooker threatening to be in my area next summer in June ,July sometime, Other than that I can pretty much get enough time off to fish at least a weekend with you guys, I am thinking its a 10 hour drive to your area. Let me know if you guys want to or are able to get time off. By the way , I figured out to get my username back.

P-N-J and Lizards. I promise if we can all get together I'll make sure I got a couple days. As far as low man on the totem, It'll be me. I fished a 30 boat benefeit tourny Sunday. I aint been on the water for about a month prior. Man did I get smoked. My buddy Daniel caught the only keeper we had.(18 incher) I caught several short fish. I vowed then and there I'll never fish another tourny when I'm that rusty. It was a benefeit for a little boy who's got a tumor from the end of his nose and covering most of his left eye. It's going to cover part of the surgery that the insurance wont cover. So I really didn't mind losing my measily $30 in the grand scheme of things. I was going to donate all the money back anyway. I sure would've liked to fluff my feathers and crowed about kicking some butt though. I talked the tourny director into having another in a couple months. Rematch. I'm going in locked and loaded.

Oh by the way best lure this ear was either the watermelon seed Senko, or a rattlin Rogue. I got to point out though that I was fishing alot deep clear lakes early this year. It's about time for the bandit and tubes to take over

My best lure has been a Jeff Tietjon model 1/2 oz. jig with a Gene Larew salt craw Trailer. The jigs have a custom color schemes that are chosen by me which is important to only me, but I have a ton of confidence in them.
