Yep. You can pretty much use any soft plastic-I've got a buddy who likes to use a lizard. I've used Zoom chunks, brush hogs, craw bugs, tiki craws, senko type baits-just use your imagination.

You can use your imagination on this one. I use all sorts of plastic, but when the bite gets tough nothing beats the real thing "PORK".

I have used a fluke as a trailer!
worked great for me! when saying great that means I have actually cought 1 fish on it ;D |

I was using the Gene Larew salt craws until I noticed that they would slide off of the hook to easily, this was even on the Strike King jigs w/ the barb to hold your trailer on.
Now I use the Zoom chunks in summer (water above 60 degrees). In winter, I use Uncle Josh pork frogs in the color that most closely resembles the color of the jig. |
